THE HISTORY:
It all began in 1979, as
Ina Maria Schmid was faced with the
matter of nail cosmetics
in the U.S. Two years later she opened
up her own nail design studio in Austria
and won the first Austrian Championship
crown in nail design already in 1987.
At the end of the 80ies she started
the nail design education with a clear
concept in Austria; shortly after in
all other countries and helped thousands
of people to gain ground in that industry
and become successful entrepreneurs and
competitors.
She revolutionized the evaluation system
at all the championships in Europe and
therewith created an objective basis
that really the best could and can win.
With this system the mistrust of the
competitors was eliminated and the championships
gain a bigger and bigger hype.
All known competitors started their
carrier with Ina Maria Schmid. Above
all she made the successful Tom Holcomb
from the U.S. to an European superstar,
as well.
She also gave her work experience of
23 years to many people and also to Christian
Cesar and made him to one of the most
successful nail designers in Europe.
In the year 2002 she founded in his honor
with IMS Europe (stands for the initial
Ina Maria Schmid) the highly triumphant
product line "Cesars Secrets International".

continuous order, 45 State
Championships as well as hundreds of
second and third places make Cesars Secrets

Academies“ and brought them under

Nail Academy" in the year 2001.
2004 the foundation of the European Federal
Association for nail designer, called „European
Nail Association“ followed.
AWARDS:
In the year 2006 Ina Maria Schmid was
invested as "Kommerzialrat" from
the Austrian Federal President. This
title marks the highest economic award
in Austria. Therefore Ina Maria Schmid
is the youngest woman with this title.
